Smt. Anita Devi, 32 years old, is a resident of village Bhatgama, block Baburahi of Madhubani Dist., Bihar. She is house wife and agriculture were the main source of their family livelihood. Her life was very difficult and she had to try hard to earn for family livelihood.
For future planning, she directed towards GVP in the month of April 2004. She heard about GVP through her neighbours that GVP is coordinating a program named SRC and immediately she shown interest in the program and soon 12 GVP’s women worker came foward and form a group named “Self Help Bhatgama – 111”. Now she is treasurer of the group. Later she participated in “Paag Training” program of GVP. With the help of cotton cloth, silk cloth, paper cardboard, color, “maida” and “tutia”, she manufactured two types of “Paag” – Special and General. Now by selling these products in the market she is earning good money to run her family livelihood smoothly.
